These pieces incorporate imagery associated with grass roots revolution - toppled statues, felled saints, stacked ammunition and rebel crowds. The physical violence of uprising is relegated safely to the realm of metaphor in these pieces, but their general uneasiness still speaks to a simmering volatility.
