mediocre portraits of outstanding people was a series drawn live on the instagram account of the City Reliquary Museum in Brooklyn, while broadcasting interviews with the subjects. The drawings were made over the course of 12 Friday night sessions during the summer of 2020, with the intention of amplifying the words of powerful women of color.
