The event will be in the evening (arrive between 4pm and 6pm). The location is the home of Keil’s parents, Nick and Carol Troisi. It’s rural, and not all cell phone carriers have service, so be sure to arrange driving directions ahead of time. It is about 3.5 hours from New York City, 2.5 hours from Newark, 2.5 hours from Philadelphia. You can also fly into Williamsport Regional Airport, which is 40 minutes away and sometimes has prices that are competitive with NYC if you book early, as well as Scranton or Harrisburg airports.
Dress comfortably. This will be outdoors, on an uneven lawn, so sturdy shoes are recommended, high heels are discouraged, and commemorative grass stains should be expected. October weather is unpredictable—it will probably be warm during the day and then cold at night, so bring a warmer layer for later. And add some sparkle! Please include in your attire some SILVER or GOLD COLORED accent; any size or type, such as a sash, scarf, tie, shirt, jacket, dress or whatever you come up with. Think: what will shimmer in moonlight?
This is the country, so if you are allergic to bees or the like bring your epi-pen and other necessities; we probably won't pause the ceremony for resuscitation.
There are hotels nearby, and we can arrange lodging with friends. Half an hour away is Ricketts Glen State Park, which has cabins. Or, join us in camping on site—the homestead has woods where you can pitch a tent. There are also AirBnBs.
There are lots of hotels to the east, such as near Wilkes-Barre, Scranton, Danville, Bloomsburg. To the west, you'll find hotels in Williamsport, 30-40 minutes away, where we've got a few special rates:
